Durga Shakti

SYNOPSIS

A village is severely hit by epidemics. The saints, religious superiors, and all villagers are working on a 'maha-pooja' to control this situation by any means. And appears Durga Maa who makes a girl undergo some trials. Delighted with the girl, Durgaa Maa gives the girl a medicine, and asks her to sprinkle it in and around the village and promises that she will wait until the girl returns. For betterment of village people and to retain Durga Maa's blessings on the village forever, the girl sacrifices her own life. Bound by the promise, Durga Maa has to stay back. While village has innocent love birds Sonu and Monu, and also cruel and mean characters Daahi, Melo, Buddhuram, and Udhyam Singh.

Sonu has to go far away from the village for some time. All alone, Monu faces all the troubles and pains by sticking to her deep faith in Durga Maa. Disguised as a little girl, Durga Maa constantly helps Monu. Melo, using his black magic brings Monu under his charm and terrorizes the village by killing many innocent children.

In the end whenever morality is destroyed or unrighteous conducts are conducted, Durga Maa appears in one or other form.

Thus, a true, meaningful creation based on belief, faith and revelation of Durga Maa, is "Durga Shakti"
